F O U N D A T I O N S
Matthew 7:24-25

Which would provide a better foundation for your home, solid rock or a sandy beach?  What kind of foundation does your team have?

In chapter 7 and verses 24-25 of Matthew’s gospel we read, “Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.  The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.”

Here’s a house on a good foundation, let’s talk about a team on a good foundation.  This is a team built upon principles of truth put into practice.  That team will not crumble when it encounters adversity.

Adversity will come, but it cannot harm the team or the individuals within it.  Just as the winds and rain couldn’t harm the house or its inhabitants, the team that is built upon principles of truth put into practice, will not fall.  That team has a rock hard foundation.

In your time of prayer today, ask the Lord to solidify your team’s foundation.  Ask Him to build your team upon a foundation that will not give way to even the most powerful adversity.
